The February Edit
Pregnancy update, what's on my calendar, winter rituals and products.
Hi friends,
I’ve been living with a little secret that I’m ready to share: I’m pregnant! Michael and I are SOOOO excited. We’re having a summer baby (Gemini if you follow Vedic astrology like me, or Cancer if you’re Western).
My life is different. Slower mornings, softer edges, better boundaries, less fucks given. I’m still teaching my regular schedule, but there will be no more wild ab blasts from my body for a while… don’t worry, you’ll still be doing them! :)
I’m tired, but also feeling great. And I’m in awe that my body is building a person. I’m 20 weeks and I don’t have much of a bump yet but it’s coming!
For most of my life, I’ve been someone who moves quickly. Pregnancy is a different kind of movement. It’s slow, quiet, internal, architectural. It’s like my body is building a small house in real time, and I can feel myself becoming obsessed with structure and beauty.
Which brings me to what I’m into right now.
This week’s theme is: silver, choreography, and winter-proofing my skin and wardrobe.
On My Cal
New York City Ballet, Winter 2026 season
If you want your brain washed clean by beauty: Winter Season runs Jan 20 – Mar 1.
I saw the new Justin Peck last night and have tickets to The Sleeping Beauty (Feb 11–22) and I’m eyeing Diamonds even though I’ve seen it a million times, I’m a Balanchine romantic forever. They also have a fabulous art exhibit in their gorgeous lobby that’s worth seeing. If you’re going to Lincoln Center, my favorite pre/post spot is Café Luxembourg, where Michael and I had one of our first dates :)

Upstate retreat: PYRO TINGS at Wildflower Farms
Auberge is hosting a PYRO TINGS residency with Kirsty Godso & me: Sun, Feb 22 – Tue, Feb 24. If you’ve been wanting to leave the city without making it a whole production: this is it. Nature + design + movement + luxury that feels like a complete system reboot. It’s Kirsty and my first ever retreat together and we couldn’t be more excited!!
Isaac Mizrahi at Café Carlyle
Running Feb 3 – Feb 21, 2026: Isaac is genius, I’m going on Tuesday! If you haven’t seen Unzipped, it’s one of the most hilarious fashion documentaries that every New Yorker should see.
Wavelengths
New SKY TING Playlist
Bad Bunny heavy!
Podcast Rec
Byron Katie, one of my favorite spiritual teachers. All of suffering is what you’re thinking and believing to be true.
Objects of Devotion
Japanese silver boxes
After being in Japan for 2 weeks (Japan guide coming next) I came back wanting to throw everything away in my house. For the things I need to keep, I got these gorgeous silver handmade Japanese letter boxes so my office is beautifully in order.
I can’t find my exact box online but here is a similar option
MERIT lip liner
My favorite color is Coupé — natural, smudges perfectly, and just makes me look composed which I need now that none of my clothes fit!
I like to pair with a moisturizing gloss like OSEA Hyaluronic Lip Oil Booster.
Lesse Bioactive Mask (pre + post travel)
My favorite face mask right now—slightly tingly, and it takes the winter dead skin layer off gently.
Pratima Vata Oil (because I’m DRY)
I’ve been using Pratima Vata Rejuvenating Body Oil for years. RIP to the Ayurvedic spa in SoHo where I used to get the best abhyanga massage—gone but never forgotten. Lately I’ve been massaging this into my belly: rich, grounding, and exactly what my skin wants right now. And if you don’t know your dosha yet: you can find an Ayurvedic doctor for a proper consultation, or take an online quiz—it’s genuinely fun and clarifying. I’m a Vata–Pitta mix with very little Kapha, which is basically why I’m fast, fiery, and… dry.
Analemma Water wand
You all know I’m a water freak. Can’t wait to share my experience in Kyoto drinking the natural waters there. This wand comes with a stainless steel case and the ritual is simple: stir your water (they describe ~15–20 stirs depending on volume).
Because I use reverse osmosis, I use this to “reset” the water and then add minerals after. I love treating water like a ceremony.

Uniform of the Week
Intimissimi ultralight cashmere long sleeves
I’m wearing these under everything. They’re the quiet hero of winter—thin enough to disappear under a sweater, warm enough for the vortex, and they’re cute by themselves with jeans!
SKY TING 50 Hour: Advanced Mentorship & Teacher Training
I’m so excited about this new program at SKY TING. If you’ve been practicing or teaching and you can feel you’re ready for the next layer, our SKY TING 50 Hour Advanced Mentorship & Teacher Training starts Sat, March 7, 2026 at SKY TING NoHo. It’s designed to refine your voice and deepen your craft through Katonah Yoga, functional anatomy, pranayama, philosophy, meditation, and seasonal sequencing—aka structure and expression.
What I love about this container is that it’s not abstract. It’s practical, precise, and mentorship-forward: alignment-driven asana study, advanced adjustments + prop strategy, practice teaching + individualized feedback, plus the “real life” layer (teaching real classes at SKY TING and getting feedback throughout the program!)
200HR certification required.
Teachers involved (aka the faculty dream team):
Me, Katharine Still, Beth Cooke, Ally Bogard, Sophie Green, Charlotte Scott, Richelle Rice, Jon Sint, Danielle Rosati, and Swami Chidananda.
Practices on Repeat
Sangraha with Raf

Travel Buds
My Costa Rica retreat with Kyle Miller is sold out, but we opened a few commuter passes (perfect for anyone booking their own lodging in Nosara). The commuter pass is ~$1,200 and includes hotel breakfast + dinner, all the yoga classes, pool access, and beach access—just no room. (Nosara with Kyle + me)
Or, if your timing is better the following week, there are still a few spots left for Beth and Katharine’s Nosara retreat (March 17–22, 2026). (Nosara with Beth + Katharine)
And summer retreats are up on the site—Austin, Santa Barbara, Greece—with more coming soon. (You can browse the full retreat lineup here.) (SKY TING Retreats)
Stay tuned for something very exciting in the fall with Christopher Golden and me… which is also why I’m not doing my usual Europe summer with Anton and Lauren this year. Don’t worry: 2027 is already in the works and it’s lit—including a retreat to India :). Best way to stay updated is to follow SKY TING on IG and newsletter.

More soon on Japan, my pregnancy, my acupuncture mentorship I’m doing, and wellness happenings at SKY TING and beyond.
With love,
Krissy

Congrats, Krissy! Would love your take on a beginner's guide to spirituality and/or Ayurveda. Love your energy!
